Recognizing that children deserve safe, loving and nurturing relationships with permanent families, DFCS and its partners will provide a continuum of available, accessible and effective services that enable and support the placement of children in adoptive families.

Ricky

Ricky, born 4/93, is a friendly and engaging Caucasian child who enjoys assisting others as needed. With a great sense of humor, he is fun to be around! Ricky loves working with tools and fixing things. In the future, he wants to be an auto mechanic. Ricky’s other interests include listening to music, playing sports and watching television. Insightful, he openly discusses his feelings about his personal circumstance, as well as, current local and world events. Although Ricky is too young to vote, he followed the 2008 Presidential Election very closely and gave great thought to which candidate he would select. Enrolled in special education classes for those with emotional and behavioral issues, Ricky’s academic needs are also addressed. He benefits from a small classroom setting and individualized attention. Ricky longs for an adoptive home. He needs an optimistic and resourceful family who can provide proper guidance in a stable, structured and nurturing environment.
